LaQuest Smart Access. Access control processed on your premises.
The Smart ICED3 controller mounts at the door on a single network connection to your own server. Readers accept palm vein, card or phone.
LaQuest Smart Access
Every door event, with the video beside it.
Palm on the reader. Door opens. The event is logged on your own server, next to the footage from the camera on that door.

Every part, specified door by door.
Every door is surveyed, specified and commissioned by LaQuest, from the credential in a person's hand to the record in the management software. Lift control, smart lockers and robot access are available as options, scoped during design.
LaQuest Smart ICED3
Single door controllers mounted at the door, with the lock relay kept on the protected side. Standalone or networked over TCP/IP.
Card, mobile and palm vein
Readers connected to the controller over OSDP or Wiegand, chosen for each door and each level of security.
One identity, several ways in
Cards, mobile credentials, PIN, visitor QR codes and palm vein, set per person and per door.
Matched to each door
Electric locks, door contacts and exit devices specified for the door type and the fire exit rules, then installed and tested.
LaQuest Smart Access server
Cardholders, access levels, schedules, site maps, live events and audit reports, on a server at your site.
Processed on your premises
LaQuest Smart Access processes access data on your own servers, not in an overseas cloud.
Four modules. One cardholder record.
Every LaQuest Smart Access door is built from the same family: a reader, the Smart ICED3 controller and the credentials your people carry. Each is specified door by door and managed from one server on your premises.
LaQuest wall reader
The standard reader for wall-mounted doors. It reads the credentials enabled for that door, whether card, phone or palm vein, and connects to the Smart ICED3 controller over OSDP or Wiegand. The reader model is chosen door by door, to the level of security each door requires.
LaQuest Smart ICED3
A single-door controller in a standard gang box, with contactless exit, a fire alarm input, a door-held-open alert and optional break-glass alarm built in. The lock relay stays on the protected side. Run it standalone from a web browser, or networked over TCP/IP to the LaQuest Smart Access server.
LaQuest access card
One card per person, with access set per person and per door from the LaQuest Smart Access server. The readers support several common card technologies, so existing cards can often be retained; compatibility is confirmed during the site assessment.
LaQuest mobile credential
The phone becomes the credential. It is managed from the same cardholder record as a card, with the same access levels and schedules, and its door events appear in the same audit reports. Visitors receive a QR pass instead and need no app.
The controller sits at the door.
A conventional controller sits in a riser room with a cable run to every door. LaQuest Smart ICED3 mounts in a standard gang box beside the door with the exit function built in, so each door needs only a power point and a network connection. Contactless exit, a fire alarm input, a door-held-open alert and optional break-glass with a visible and audible alarm are on the same device.
Access control integrated with the locks, cameras and alarms at the door.
A door event is most useful when the operator can see it, the HR record explains it and the control room can act on it. Each integration is confirmed during design.
A door event calls up the camera covering that door, so operators see what happened, not only that it happened.
Forced doors and doors held open reach your existing control room with the video beside them, handled under your procedures.
Access follows the HR record. When a person joins, moves or leaves in an HR system such as Zoho People, their access changes with it.
Visitors register in advance or at a self check-in kiosk and receive a QR pass, static or dynamic, with no app to install.
The management server and its records run on Dell servers at your site. Access data stays with you.

Book a site assessmentWhere is our access data processed?
On your premises. The LaQuest Smart Access server runs on infrastructure at your site, and access data is not sent to an overseas cloud.
Can we keep our existing cards?
Often, yes. The readers support several common card technologies. We confirm compatibility with your cards during the site assessment.
Does it work with our cameras and video platform?
LaQuest integrates access control with AxxonSoft video management, and the link is confirmed during design. Other platforms are reviewed during design.
Can we see datasheets and certifications?
Yes. Datasheets are available on request.
