Participants created prototype mobile apps using the Google Maps API and a MySQL database, with Firebase as the backend. A short segment introduced blockchain and where it fits.
The course ended with a mini hackathon. Teams had two hours to build an app and present it to a panel of four judges. Anoop Lakhera, President & CEO of LaQuest, said the results were outstanding across the board and made judging difficult.
